Custom Sensor
A large European 3PL service provider deploys 1000’s of lights in their racking area which are ON 24x7. This means lacs of rupees, tons of CO2 and damage to the environment! The Customer tried standard off-the-shelf motion sensors which did not work as
(a) motion in adjoining aisles interfered
(b) motion at the ends interfered and
(c) trolley movement on the floor above interfered.
The Pyrios Solution:The client engaged Pyrios. We developed a directional sensor which switched on the lights only when someone entered for picking or stacking material, which is a 2 min activity usually happening around 10 times in one day. This means a saving of 90% of the electricity!
